Overtime Pay isn't supposed to be convenient for growers; it's supposed to be protection.
We understand the rising costs, ICE raids, and so much more are making things difficult...but the solution cannot once again be at the backs of farmworkers.
This is a hard-fought, earned right for the people who feed this state. Let's be creative on finding a solution that doesn't undercut the people working our fields under unimaginable political and climate conditions.

Of the 2.4 million farmworkers who put food on our tables, roughly 34% are women.
Of the 2.4 million farmworkers in the US, nearly half are undocumented. We fight every day for equality and the path to citizenship that these women deserve. Thank you for all you do for us!

Founded in 1999 in response to a crisis in local schools, Salem/Keizer Coalition for Equality (SKCE) is a nonprofit that:
✅ Empowers Latino immigrant families through parent leadership, education, and advocacy in the Salem-Keizer School District.
✅ Connects families with early learning, parenting education, and kids' summer programs.
✅ Builds community power by equipping parents to advocate for their children and reshape the systems meant to serve them.
We're proud of our sister organization for opening doors for Latino families.

Fundada en 1999 en respuesta a una crisis en las escuelas locales, la Salem/Keizer Coalition for Equality (SKCE) es una organización sin fines de lucro que:
✅ Empodera a las familias inmigrantes latinas mediante el liderazgo de los padres, la educación y la defensa de derechos en el Distrito Escolar de Salem-Keizer.
✅ Conecta a las familias con servicios de educación infantil para padres y programas de verano para niños.
