Andrea Garcia

Andrea Garcia Torres (she/her/ella) | Volunteer & Special Projects Coordinator| andreagarcia@pcun.org

Andrea is a proud daughter of immigrants, and was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. She recently moved to Corvallis, Oregon as she is a current student at Oregon State University working towards a major in Biohealth Sciences and two minors, one in Spanish and the other in Chemistry.

Growing up she saw the disparities in her community and went to “marchas” at the Salem capitol to fight for the rights of her family and her community. The passion to continue helping the community led her to start at PCUN as COVID-19 Field Organizer and later return as the Volunteer and Special Projects Coordinator.

In her free time she loves hiking and enjoying mother nature. Fun fact about her: she named her car “Carcacha” after Selena’s song.
